Cibo's Restaurant

Cibo’s restaurant located in Waynesburg, Ohio opened in 1971. After the closing of the Mohawk movie theatre, a local orthodontist purchased the building for his mother to open an Italian restaurant. She along with other local friends started cooking with their recipes brought over from Italy.

People from all over Stark and surrounding counties would come to enjoy the homemade pastas and bread. In 1986 the entire theatre was remodeled to accommodate the growing number of patrons. The large dining room can seat over two hundred people, and offers a unique atmosphere. From it’s high ceiling to the stage where local residents occasionally entertain with dinner theatrics.

Great homemade food! A nice little gem of a place. Prices are very reasonable. It was a movie theater before it was a restaurant about 48 years ago. Its pretty cool inside.

Nothing warms the belly better than fresh pasta with a homemade sauce! Add to that, home made rolls and soups and it's a little slice of heaven on a cold winter's day. Cibos has been a frequent favorite for years!

Their homemade pastas you just can't go wrong. They carry a variety of food if you don't like italian including dinners. The fresh rolls are wonderful.

Neat place with great staff. Could dress up and go here for special occasions or eat here in dirty clothes after work. Either way you'll fit in with the crowd and atmosphere. Food is pretty good too and some nights they have all you can eat specials
